First start of WebReview
By default, websites in the history of Firefox will expire after 90 days. You would consider increasing the expiration time in the Firefox options for a more stable result in long-term use. Go to "Tools" ("Extras") -> "Options" ("Einstellungen") -> "Privacy" ("Dateschutz"). There you will find the option "Keep my history for at least ... days" ("Chronik mindestens ... Tage speichern").
On start after the installation or an update of WebReview the about:webreview page is opened.
On this site, you find a short feature overview with some quicklinks and the latest changelog.
For WebReview to work properly, some data has to be generated and aggregated from your local history. This is a one-time process that needs to be done especially after the first installation. It can take some time, even more than a minute, based on your history size. A red box will notify you about this:
To start the process of data generation, click the button "Generata metadata".
If a firefox warning about a busy script appears, please click "Continue":
As the history, this data is stored in your Firefox profile folder and will not be sent or published in any way by the extension.
